Kids Helping Kids

The Studio School of Dance dedicates its resources and the voluntary efforts of its dancers to charitable activities:

Open House Day: This an all-day Studio event that brings together dancers, their families and others to take part in small dance workshops, dance demonstrations, activities for all ages and a barbecue. The Studio donates $10 from every dance registration received on this day to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Foundation.
Performances for local charities: Studio dancers perform every year at benefits and fundraisers. In the past year, our dancers have entertained for The Sisters of Penelope, The Bronson Centre Annual Fundraising Event, and various school charities and fundraisers.
Ottawa Dances: The Studio is affiliated with Ottawa Dances, which plays host each spring to a full evening of performances with silent and live auctions. All the proceeds of the evening are given to Roger’s House.
